When someone passes

When a loved one passes

We are still here to support you

We are very sorry for your loss and we hope that we can support you through this difficult time.

Many of our Carers continue to join us as Former Carers, attending our Services and Lunches, still meeting with the friends that they made and having access to our Advisors. You would be very welcome.

Please just pop into a Service, or contact one of our Advisors.

If you would like us to attend a memorial service, we will be there if we can. We may also be able to provide photographs of your loved one attending some of our activities if you would like them to display at your memorial service.

LEAVE A GIFT IN YOUR WILL

’ADS’ cannot give advice on your will, but here are some general guidelines that you may like to consider.

Also, you may wish supporting our Charity beyond by leaving a gift in your will to our Charity to honour your loved one.

fUNERAL COLLECTIONS & TRIBUTE FUNDS

Your Funeral Director may suggest setting up a personalised Tribute Fund.  As well as being able to give details of the funeral service, you would be able to add tributes about your loved one.  Any donations are sent directly to the charity that you nominate.

You can also set up an online funeral collection through MuchLoved Funeral Notice or JustGiving. This will allow you to collect funeral donations and your guests can post messages of condolence and light remembrance candles when they visit the site.

CASH & chequeS DONATIONS

Should you decide that you would like to invite cash donations to support the work of β€˜ADS’, we can provide collection boxes or tins, or perhaps small envelopes that money can be slipped into to use at your loved one’s funeral service. This will make it easier for your friends and family to make their own personal contribution by cash or cheque on the day.

Our tins and boxes also carry a QR code for card or touch donations.

FUNDRAISE IN MEMORY OF your loved one

Another way to support our Charity while bringing a tribute to your loved one is to organise an event or take on a challenge to raise funds in memory with family and friends. For example, you can join our annual β€˜ADS’ Santa Fun Run.

The Acknowledgement and remembrance wall

We know that it’s never easy to lose someone you love, so that is why we want to give you the opportunity to remember them in a wonderful way by posting a photo and a dedication to your loved one right here, on our website.
