Join us for the Launch of ‘dementia hour’ on delite radio

On Saturday May 3rd, between 3:00 and 5:00 PM- in the lead-up to the ‘Dementia Hour’ launch, our very own Rachel Spencer will join Tony Jay on the ‘Behind the Groove’ show. Listeners will have the chance to get to know Rachel as they discuss the power of music and how it is being used as a meaningful intervention to enhance the quality of life of People affected by Dementia.

Then, on Sunday, May 4th from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, we proudly launch the very first ‘Dementia Hour’, presented by Steve Collett, with Rachel Spencer, Nysa Harris and Lee Mathers. The show will continue to air every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.

Each ‘Dementia Hour’ episode will feature a dedicated topic related to Dementia, aiming to inform, support and inspire listeners. Topics will include areas such as diagnosis, caregiving, lived experiences, prevention and much more. There will also be a Q&A session. Questions can be sent via What’s Up on: +44 (0)20 78 55 55 55.
