Job description: IT infrastructure Expertise and/or Salesforce Systems Administrator volunteer

VOLUNTEER LOCATION: Working from home, and occasionally from the Maidenhead Office

VOLUNTEER ROLE:   IT Infrastructure Expertise and/ or Salesforce systems Administrator Volunteer

MAIN TASKS: 

Supporting the team with ensuring that the hardware and software is updated.

Duties include;

  • Set up and maintain laptops, printers, phones and Wi-Fi

  • Troubleshooting Hardware and software issues

  • Supporting users with passwords, user names, email and Salesforce access

  • Install updates and security patches

  • Firewall management

  • Updating and Salesforce

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE:

Experience of Windows, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and MailChimp

An understanding of CRM as systems Administrator, in particular Salesforce NPSP would be an advantage

Problem-solving

Good understanding of Data legislation and security

Strong communication skills

Keeping up to date with current practices

DAYS & TIME REQUIRED:

Flexible but likely to be a half day per month.

TRAINING & SUPPORT PROVIDED

Training, support and guidance will be given to you by staff and other experienced volunteers during the role. All volunteers will require DBS, which ADS will organise.
